THE BACKSTORY
Skin and Sky’s founder/esthetician has two decades of working directly with women’s skin around the globe, from all nationalities, all walks of life and facing a wide variety of major and minor imbalances. We follow our intuition straight to the scientific journals, medical community, chemists and other estheticians to ensure a data-driven approach proven to slow down and minimize signs of years gone by, concerts rocked, Sundays on the river, Tuesdays in traffic and all the mysterious complications and celebrations of daily life.
Our body care products work synergistically to protect, strengthen, brighten and regenerate. Data collected on key ingredients show up to 60% prevention and 28% reduction of existing fine lines, wrinkles, pigment disturbances, laxicity, collagen breakdown crepeyness and overall glow.
The ultimate goal is to ensure supple, luminous and beautiful skin for as many years as we can foresee.
We develop products with knowledge of natural biological rhythms, needs and weaknesses; and further encourage brilliant skin with adaptogenic Beauty Teas and Tonics (launching Fall/Winter 2020) which support a non-reactive digestive system, encourage lymphatic balance, prevent oxidative damage and encourage detox functions.
Our top priority is to develop the beauty products we want for ourselves and can’t find. But, after several peeks behind the massive beauty industry curtains, we are also empowered with a sense of responsibility to help rewrite the rules, revamp outdated models and create opportunities for the next generation of creative, entrepreneurial innovators willing to put the work behind a vision and incorporate a desire to do the most good for as many as possible rather than the current greed-based definitions of success.
Our over-arching vision incorporates elements we are inspired by: Beauty, Art, Science, Partnership, Magic and Abundance for All.
We create magical lotions and potions, rage against the snake oil and use our platform to encourage movements redefining the next economic era.
